Pedal Toronto and More
Exercise, Socialize and have Fun
Tuesday evenings 6:00 pm the ride starts at the
corner of North 4th Street and Market in the Sloan Station parking lot
The ride will go through the "Friendly Streets" of Toronto, along scenic River Avenue, also north on Route 7F
and through the villages of Empire and Stratton. The entire ride will cover about 16 miles you may return to Sloan Station
at any time along the ride. There will be several rest stops along the way. You are invited to take part in the group ride.
Cycling Stretches for all ages
You are also welcome to bike and walk the friendly streets of Toronto
on your own.
Even though the designated streets in Toronto are not all completed
with the painting of sharrows which indicate both the direction of travel and alerts the motorists to the presence of bikers and walkers.
you are still invited to explore the streets of Toronto. You will find a map of Toronto and the designated bike streets at the Kiosk which is
located at the corner of Fourth Street and Market. Parking is also available at this corner.
Feel free to to copy the Toronto street map below and explore the
friendly streets of Toronto. From the north end of Toronto you may bike,
walk or run to Empire and Stratton on what is called old route 7 (7F). Round trip through Toronto and north to Empire and Stratton will
cover 16 plus miles. It is hoped that the painting of sharrows will be completed in the next few months.
